Jordan Roepke — cinematic senior portrait photographer in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

The Photographer

I'm Jordan Roepke, a cinematic portrait photographer based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. What started as a fascination with light and shadow has become a deep passion for creating images that feel more like art than snapshots — portraits that belong in the pages of a magazine.

Before photography, I spent more than twenty years as a touring musician. That life on the road gave me something no photography school could teach — an instinct for reading people, drawing out their energy, and recognizing the unrepeatable moments before they disappear. Every session I direct carries that experience in it.

My approach is rooted in the editorial world. Every session is directed with intention — from the lighting to the styling to the emotion in each frame. I believe your senior portraits should be more than a record of what you looked like. They should capture who you are, elevated to something extraordinary.

When you work with me, you're not just getting photos. You're getting a cinematic experience — the kind of session where you walk in feeling a little nervous and walk out feeling like you just stepped off a Vogue set. That transformation is what drives everything I do.

The Approach

Cinematic Vision

Every session is directed like a film scene. I plan the light, the mood, and the moment — crafting each frame with the same precision as a cinematographer.

Editorial Styling

Your portraits will look like they belong in the pages of a magazine editorial or fashion campaign. I bring a couture eye to every pose, every angle, every detail.

Your Identity

This is about who you are right now — your energy, your confidence, your moment. I capture the authentic you, elevated to art that you'll treasure for a lifetime.

The Craft

Shot on cinema-grade equipment. Edited with intention. Every image is hand-retouched to ensure your portraits are nothing short of extraordinary.
